I recently had three pairs of shoes re-soled instead of buying new shoes and it felt good. In the spirit of long-lasting footwear, I decided to commit to a pair of Frye boots. These are serious boots and they will last your entire life with proper care but they are magically not crazy expensive. Allow me to introduce the Engineer 12" boots with wool detail, as seen on my feet.
