A friend turned me on to a local cause called the Vancouver Tree Fruit Project (thanks Sam). Check it out here. I fully support the rescue and redistribution of local food and I am the newest member of their fledgling blogging team. My niche happens to recipes, surprised? Cherry season starts at the end of June in our temperate food zone and our climate favours delicious sweet cherries so check out my cherry post here.
